JONES, CARL S., SR.
On January 23, 2019, Carl S. Jones, Sr., beloved husband of the late Nettie M. Jones, devoted father of C. Stephen Jones, Jr.(Cynthia Neilson), Deborah Hooser (the late Ron Hooser) and Diana G. Clendenin, dearest step-father of Bill Merchant (Connie), Ronald Merchant, and Terry Merchant (Michelle), cherished grandfather of Amber, Matthew, Scott, Samantha, Josh, Caryn, Conner, Audrey, and Erin, loving brother of Fred Jones (Jackie), Tom Jones (Carol), Bob Jones, the late Ralph Jones, Dottie Harris (Geoff), and Bonnie Cook (the late Eddie). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10 - 12 p.m. at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make Memorial Contributions in his memory to either Christ Solid Rock Baptist Church, 2611 Hammonds ferry Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
