CAVE, DAVID WAYNE
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Wayne Cave, who left this world peacefully on February 26, 2025. Son of the late Richard and Pauline Cave, the beloved husband of Claire Petrides, devoted father of Annemarie Cave, loving brother of Cathy and her husband Lenny Dunaja, Richard Cave and partner Teresa, and the late Robert Cave, dearest uncle of Tonya, Sommer, Jason and his wife Kammie, cherished great-uncle of Cora and her husband Cole, Ellie and Dillan, and cherished brother-in-law of Ellie Petrides and Manos Petridis. He is also survived by other family and numerous, dear friends.
Born on January 2nd, 1959, and raised in Armistead Gardens, he later made his home in Dundalk, MD. As a dedicated Pressman at Quebecor, David mastered the art of printing and embodied the spirit of hard work as a proud member of the GCUI union until the plant's closure. His tenacity and perseverance only shone brighter when he transitioned to truck driving for Davisson Golf and United Oil before retiring. David found joy behind the wheel, embracing the freedom of the journey while creating experiences that would last a lifetime. His adventurous spirit led him to the Green Ridge Mountains, where weekends were spent enjoying his passion for hunting, four-wheeling, and spending time with his friends. David nurtured lifelong friendships; treasured moments spent with those close to him. He will be fondly remembered as an honorary brother of the McDonald family.
The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 3pm until 7pm. Funeral Services will commence promptly at 11am at the funeral home on Monday, March 3, 2025. A Committal Service and burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desire may make memorial contributions to Gilchrist Hospice Center, Towson, 555 Towsontown Blvd. W, Towson, MD 21204.
