DENNIS LEE SPROUSE, SR.

Mr. Dennis L. Sprouse Sr, of Dundalk, Maryland passed away suddenly on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Franklin Square Hospital, Rossville.  Mr. Sprouse was born on February 10, 1957, in Charlottesville, Virginia to David L. and Ida B. Sprouse.  He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ida Sprouse.

Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many in the area.  He is survived by his loving wife, Karen J. (Robinette) Sprouse, one son, Dennis L. Sprouse Jr., two daughters Karen M Moore, (Joseph Moore) , and Cheri L. Sprouse,  (Robert Grant, Jr.)  He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Lee Baskette, Aric Baskette (Sierra), Cody Baskette (Bryn), Robert Grant III, Roman Moore, Abigail Moore, Scarlett Sprouse, Daisy Sprouse and one great-grandchild, Logan Green (and mother Samantha).

He is also survived by one brother, Wayne Sprouse of Virginia and one sister, Pamela Sprouse of Virginia; Sister-In-Law, Lisa Wyant of VA; three brothers in law, Victor Robinette (Donna), Michael Robinette, and Steven Robinette (Janice) all of Maryland.  Additionally, an aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his extended family are left to cherish his memory. 

There will be a Memorial Service in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Faith Baptist Church, 800 Rives Street at 1:00 p.m.     A Celebration of Life will be held in Dundalk, Maryland on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the American Legion Post 38, 3300 Dundalk Avenue from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
