BENNETT, DOLORIS A.

     On May 3, 2022, Doloris A. Bennett, passed away peacefully in Laurel, Maryland. Doloris, also known as Dee, was the daughter of the late Charles E. Shaw and Madeline V. Hamel, devoted mother of Lisa Whitfield, Brian Shaw and his wife, Erin; loving grandmother of Aidan Whitfield, Jessica von Bank, Julia Shaw, Brian Michael Shaw, Jr. and Jalyn Shaw; cherished sister of Robert Shaw, Franklin Shaw, Jeannie Hockman, the late Charles Shaw, Jr. and the late Landon Shaw.

     Dee was an exuberant person, who was always the life of the party. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, watching her favorite television shows and drinking her coffee. Those who knew Dee, knew how truly generous she was with her resources with everyone she ever met. She was a true animal lover and cared for many pets over the years, especially her beloved cats. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
