KRAJCOVIC, ELIZABETH A.

Elizabeth Agnes Krajcovic, daughter of Agnes and John Krajcovic, died June 23, 2024.

Elizabeth was born in Dundalk and graduated from Seton High School and Bard Avon Schools, located in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, Elizabeth worked a short time for the Davidson Chemical Corporation. Ms. Krajcovic, subsequently relocated to the Sandia Corporation, on Sandia Base Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she lived and worked as a contractor for the Atomic Energy Commission.

Elizabeth returned to Maryland after three years and began to work for the United States Air Force, (USAF) Air Research and Development Command (ARDC). She remained with the USAF and eventually transferred to the Andrews Air Force Base (AFB) in the Office of the Assistant Vice Commander.

Ms. Krajcovic traveled extensively in connection to duties related to her new job. She remained with the USAF at Andrews AFB and eventually became the Executive Secretary then Personal Assistant to more than eleven Chiefs of Staff during her fifteen years of employment.  During her career and prior to retirement in 1986, Ms. Krajcovic received multiple awards and was recognized for her “distinctive achievements and total dedication to the Air Force”.

Elizabeth loved her Dundalk community and was devoted to her many coworkers, friends, siblings and extended family members. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters throughout the US and Europe, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her family and friends, Elizabeth was a devout member of St. Rita’s Church and supporter of the St. Helena community, where she and her sister Elsie resided in their family home.

Ms. Krajcovic was predeceased by her beloved brothers Jesse, Emmanuel “Check,” and Fred Krajcovic, and her sisters Elsie Krajcovic and Irene Ebaugh. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law, Maxine (married to Jess) and niece, Dianne Falconieri.

Ms. Krajcovic is survived by her nephew, John Krajcovic and husband Kevin Tucker of Boston, MA, her niece, Jan Leahey and husband, Michael, of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by her three great nephews, Tim, Ryan and Colin Leahey.

There will be a graveside service at Holy Redeemer (Belair Road) prior to interment. Due notice of time and date will be given.
