SOUTHALL, ERA M. "TENNY"

On May 13, 2022, Era M. "Tenny" Southall, age 86, She is survived by her loving brother, Clarence "Bucky" Southall and his wife Florence of Nashville, TN, and dear niece, Anita "Dale" Grissom of Thompson Sta, TN. She was predeceased by her parents, James Oliver Southall and Era V. Bates Southall, as well as her siblings, sister, Rebecca B. Southall Harris, brothers, James D. Southall, Claude G. Southall, Augusta "Bates" Southall, Howell "Keith Southall, and Franklin "Frank" Southall. She is also survived by her dear friend, William "Billy" Mentzer of Baltimore, MD, who took extra special care of her by opening his home to her and showing her love and empathy during her final days. He wasn't just a friend, but family. She is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.

Tenny was a one of a kind special person who will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She was a graduate of Franklin High School in Thompson Sta, TN on May 19, 1954. She joined the United States Army on June 2, 1954. She made her home in Baltimore, MD. At Tenny's request, services and interment are private.
