GAVEL, HELEN MAE

     On December 24, 2022, Helen M. Gavel (nee Harris), beloved wife of the late Michael T. Gavel, Jr., devoted mother of Michelle Sumuel and her late husband, Walter, Kelly Curry and her husband, John, Michael Gavel, III, and Rebecca Stevens, loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, cherished sister of Steven Harris and his wife, Patti and Ricky Harris and his wife, Sharon. She is also survived by her pet dog, Bailey, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

     The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 3 - 5 & 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
