BARRETT, JAMES R.

     On May 4, 2026, James R. Barrett, beloved father of January Marie Barrett and her husband, Fernando Ramirez, Kaitlynn Nicole Bowman and her husband, Keith, Savanna Marie Barrett and her companion, Troy A. Stoner, and Julianna (Julis) Barrett, loving grandfather of Autumn Rayne Rivera and Liliana Marie Ramirez, dearest great-grandfather of Oaklynn Grace Boudreaux, cherished ex-husband of Karen Barrett-Martin. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Jeanette Barrett. He is also survived by other family and many friends.

     The family will receive guests for a memorial gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 2- 4 p.m. & 6 - 8 p.m., where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. The family has requested that everyone come dressed in orange and blue to represent Jimmy's favorite NFL team, the Chicago Bears.
