On January 18, 2017, John F. Berrent, beloved husband of Esther Berrent; devoted father of his late son Kevin Berrent, daughters Donna Westervelt and Cheryl Schwendel, and son-in-laws Bob Schwendel and Ed Westervelt; loving grandfather of Jennifer Dines, grandson-in-law Dave Dines, Melissa Westervelt, Kevin Westervelt, and Ryan Schwendel; dearest great-grandfather of Sophia Dines, Francine Dines and Carolina Dines. He is also survived by numerous, cherished extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Bradley Ashton Kehl Funeral Home, 2134 Willow Spring Road, Dundalk, MD. 21222 on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 9:30am. Visiting hours Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from  2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117 on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.
