Joseph A Whitt

WHITT, JOSEPH A.

Joseph Albert Whitt passed away on March 18th 2023. He was preceded  in death by his parents Albert and Agnes Whitt and brothers John Kenney and Edward Whitt. He is survived by family members Robert & Teresa Whitt, Rita and Ed Dyer, Josh and Alison Whitt, and six nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind dear friends Dave Wagers and Vince Sala. Joseph was born on January 22nd 1958 he was  raised in St. Helena and attended St. Rita's school as a child.  During his life he worked many jobs for many companies primarily in the fields of construction, service,  maintenance and repair. He also was a licensed firearms dealer for many years.  Throughout his life Joseph had many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed metal detecting, hunting, fishing, gardening, collecting coins and bottles as well as restoring antique tractors and small engines. He also loved Dundalk and bragged that he never missed a single day at the annual Heritage Fair since its inception in 1976. He was always there to help anyone he knew and his strong hands and sometimes hard to see warm heart will be missed.
