PERKINS, ROSE A.
Suddenly, on December 4, 2016, Rose A. Perkins (nee DiMartino-Sortino), beloved wife of Edison M. Perkins, devoted sister of Josephine Palmere and her husband, the late Orlando Palmere, the late Connie Sloman and her late husband, William Sloman, the late Anthony DiMartino and his companion, Debbie Hall, and and the late Michael DiMartino, loving aunt of Michael Palmere and his wife, Sarah, Lisa Parr and her husband, Chris, and many other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her baby dog, Ellie.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
