KWIATKOWSKI, WANDA JOAN
On December 11, 2020, Wanda Joan Kwiatkowski (nee Jakubowski), beloved wife of the late John Michael Kwiatkowski. Devoted mother of Kathryn Bankard (and her husband Al) and Susan Carey (and her husband Mark). Cherished grandmother of the Bankards: Sister Mary Monica O.P., Alphonse IV (and his wife Angela), Bernie (and his wife Erica), Charlie (and his wife Susan), Paul (and his wife Kelly), and Rebecca (and her husband Bill Minor); and the Monthies: Billy, Chris, Meg (and her husband Stephen Mulvey), Ned (and his wife Lauren), Laura, Michael, and Mark. Proud great- grandma of Maci, Kelsey, Nicholas, Matthew, Alex, Bridget, and Timothy Bankard; and Felicity and Victoria Minor. Preceded in death by her parents John and Veronica (nee Siwicki) Jakubowski, her sister Helen Fendryk, and her brother Chester Jakubowski.
Wanda was born in Fells Point and attended Holy Rosary School, St. Michael’s Business School, and Dundalk Community College where she earned an A.A. degree in business/accounting. At Our Lady of Fatima, she volunteered in the school library, worked in the parish office, and was an active member of both the Holy Family Society and the Leisure Club. She also volunteered her time as Secretary of the Eastwood Community Civic Association. Her favorite pastimes over the years were shopping, bowling, watching her soaps on TV, and playing Bingo.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
